Kathirur Service Co-operative Bank has been awarded the Kerala State Government’s Best Performance Award for Primary Co-operative Banks for the year 2023–24. The bank was selected based on several key factors including an increase in deposits, growth in loan disbursement, efficient loan recovery, and its policy of identifying and prioritizing creditworthy borrowers.
Operating under the Class 1 Super Grade category, Kathirur Service Co-operative Bank has a wide operational network with 12 branches. Since 1996, the bank has been consistently running in profit. For the financial year 2023–24 alone, the bank recorded an impressive operating profit of ₹5 crores. It currently serves a strong membership base of 1.21 lakh members, offering a 12% dividend to its shareholders.

It provides facilities such as fund transfers, UPI transactions, and other essential banking operations without any hidden charges, matching the service standards of nationalized and new-generation banks.

In the healthcare sector, the bank runs two medical stores, a medical laboratory, and a palliative care center for bedridden patients, demonstrating its commitment to community well-being.
