Kadirur: The ‘Ithiri Vithu Othiri Nellu’ , agricultural project, implemented at Kadirur VHSS under the aegis of Kadirur Service Cooperative Bank, was inaugurated by Cooperation Department Thalassery Assistant Registrar Sri. P. P. Rajesh. The programme was organised for students as part of Harita Samridhi — the innovative scheme of the cooperative sector under the Kerala Cooperation Department’s technology-based farming initiative. The main objectives of this project are to cultivate agricultural awareness among school students and to teach them farming practices. The children participate directly by going into the fields for transplanting seedlings and taking part in harvesting.
Bank President Sri. Sreejith Choyan presided over the function. Kadirur School Principal In-charge Sri. Shaj T K delivered the welcome address. Praseela M, T K Shaji, Priya K, Seena T, Ajith P, Karayi Vijayan Master, Vikas K P, and Rajeshbabu conveyed their wishes. Staff Secretary Sri. Anilkumar V proposed the vote of thanks.
