Kadirur: Kadirur Service Co-operative Bank conducted a yam harvesting event. Yam cultivation was started as an intercrop among the jackfruit saplings at the Jack Farm established on the bank’s own land.
The bank is also starting pepper cultivation on one acre of land. The programme held at the farm was inaugurated by Raidco Chairman Shri M. Surendran by handing over the harvested yam to Agricultural Group Chairman Shri Karayi Vijayan.
Bank President Shri Sreejith Choyan presided over the function. Panoor Block Panchayat Vice President Shri N. Sudheesh, Shri Ramachandran Master, Shri M. Rajesh Babu, and Smt. N. Bindu spoke on the occasion.
