Kathirur: Kathirur Service Co-operative Bank has begun yam (chena) cultivation. Yam was cultivated as an intercrop in the bank-established jack farm. The yam cultivation was inaugurated by Kathirur Panchayath Vice President K.V. Pavithran. Bank President Sreejith Choyan presided over the event. Panniyannur Bank President N. Pavithran, Bank Director Aneesh Kumar, and Ramachandran spoke at the occasion. Bank Secretary M. Rajesh Babu welcomed the gathering, and A.K. Prakasan delivered the vote of thanks.
